In 2007-2008 our Fireproofing division performed major projects throughout the Midwest using multiple applications of Thermal Spray on Insulation, Board Fireproofing, Spray Fireproofing and Intumescent at hospitals, commercial high-rises, and a new prototype Wal-Mart.  These projects were all over 1 million dollars in value and used over 25,000 bags each of fireproofing and or thermal materials manufactured by Isolatek International, W.R. Grace, Carboline Co., and International Cellulose.  These projects include the 22 story Block 37/Media Tower in Chicago, Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, Iowa and the new 800,000 sf prototype  Walmart with enclosed parking in Monona, Wisconsin.

Our Environmental/Demolition division enjoyed another successful season with repeat business with long time clients Chicago Public Schools as well as multiple municipalities throughout the state of Illinois and Greater Chicago suburban areas.  We continue to form new relationships in the private sector with new clients at banks, colleges, universities, medical facilities, industrial & commercial building owners as well as the host of General Contractors that we have had the pleasure of working with over this past year.

     IFE &S is capable of performing to any size project using approved U.L. Designs.  We provide products from Carboline, ThermoCon, W.R. Grace, Cafco and we are an innovator in the application of Intumescent paint.

Selective Demolition

     IFE & S has successfully performed interior demolition for renovations at hospitals, office buildings, industrial buildings, and commercial sites as well as private properties.  We manage job site production with efficiency and control in order to meet your designated time schedule.  IFE & S uses a variety of disposal and recycling options to help save you money and to keep our world clean.

Environmental Solutions

     IFE & S has an environmental staff with a combined experience of 40 years.  We specialize in Asbestos Abatement, Lead Mitigation, and Mold Remediation.

Our satisfied clients include Chicago Public schools, Wal-Mart, University of Illinois at Chicago, F.H. Paschen, and virtually everyone that we have had the pleasure to perform with over the past 4 years.
